exciting

The volleyball team has a blast...even just being introduced.

Camaraderie is the key to a strong and competitive team.

After a "kill" the team on the floor does a little unified jump to celebrate.

The Blazers flew high with their win over Trinity University.

As of this writing the Blazers have won 3 and lost 3 but have beaten Trinity 15 straight games.

Athletics and competition will always be popular at Hood.

Practical

The 10 students in Hood College's U.S. Army ROTC program begin their 0630 physical training session in Gambrill Gymnasium three days each week.  A variety of stretching exercises and calisthenics, with and without partners, serves as a prelude to a sunrise run around campus.
